"DALGETY BAY residents will find out the extent of contamination by radioactive waste following further monitoring by the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (Sepa) this month. Sepa plans to undertake a new survey following the results of previous tests and discussions with the Defence Estates Agency. Work will take place from 15th-19th September and will be carried out by contractors Nuvia. The survey will extend further east and west than on previous occasions and will include the new harbour and sandy bay west of the sailing club, as well as a significant part of the foreshore behind Sealstrand."
