More good news for Fifers.
"FIFERS CAN EXPECT to live two years longer on average than they did a decade ago, new figures from the General Register Office for Scotland have suggested. Statistics for 2005-7 revealed that the average life expectancy at birth in Fife was 78.2, 24 months more than the 76.2 recorded in 1995-7."
