"IT IS official—the long-awaited Glenrothes by-election will be held on Thursday, November 6. Prime Minister Gordon Brown broke the news to Scottish Labour MPs last night at their first parliamentary group meeting since returning to Westminster from the summer recess. The writ formally moving the election date is expected to be moved in the next few days."
Carnegie thinks that the Labour Party will have a very hard time holding onto the Glenrothes seat. They have already probably lost it given the economic situation. We shall see what happens on 6th November.
