Not such good news for Fife.
"PLANS TO invest £6 million in a new manufacturing plant in Dalgety Bay have been held up by the credit crunch. Edinburgh-based firm GSI Corporation Ltd say potential investors had been holding back from making a commitment to the creation of a Fife production line because of the financial climate. However, the company’s managing director Neil Fraser said he was still confident an agreement could be made that would create 57 jobs in the west Fife town."
The credit crunch has well and truly reached Fife.
