"FIFE’S TEACHERS are among the best in the country when it comes to being off work through illness. Figures produced by Fife Council reveal that 3.7% of working days were lost because of ill health during 2007/8, a rate bettered by only 10 of Scotland’s 32 local authorities, ahead of the Scottish average of 3.9%."
Carnegie applauds the dedication of Fife's teachers who are obviously better than most of their Scottish colleagues in avoiding the temptations of the Duvet Day.
