Carnegie reads that one of the posher parts of Fife, Dalgety Bay, has lost the title of Best Kept Town in the "Kingdom" to Cowdenbeath.
Dalgety Bay is a really nice place .... despite the absence of bars and restaurants, but Carnegie congratulates the people of Cowdenbeath for having more pride in the appearance of their town than Dalgety Bayers apparently have. Time to shake up their act perhaps? Or perhaps even for Fife Council to reintroduce the dedicated street cleaning in Dalgety Bay which it suspended several months ago?
