Carnegie notes the comments in this week's Fife Free Press that apparently "no-one (is) to suffer in £8 million social work cuts." Does Fife Council's Executive Director Stephen Moore really believe that?
More worrying is the fact that yet again we appear to have rank incompetence by the previous administration in setting a budget which was unsustainable and will lead to increased hardship on those least able to respond to it in plugging yet another multi-million pound gap in Fife Council's finances
