Carnegie sometimes thinks that Fife Council are deaf as well as blind to the concerns of it citizens. Well it turns out that they actually are if you happen to be one of the Kingdom's deaf citizens.
"Deaf people have been left isolated because of a change in Fife Council's contact policy, is has been claimed. Representatives of the deaf community will meet council officials to raise concerns over the service they receive."
It appears that Fife Council are so desperate to make savings that they will cut just about anything "non core" to save a few pennies, even if it means making the lives of those Fifers already having a hard time even more difficult. What will the next saving be asks Carnegie? How about some Council junkets?
